Chorzo is a small team of Irish professionals brought together by a shared frustration: watching the cost of living rise steadily while opportunities to earn extra income remain out of reach for too many people. We’re not a large corporation or an outside investor group, we’re ordinary people from Irish communities who understand these pressures firsthand, because we live with them too.

Ireland faces a dual problem. On one hand, the cost of everyday essentials continues to climb, squeezing household budgets across the country. On the other, many people struggle to find flexible, accessible ways to earn additional income, whether due to limited job availability, inflexible working hours, or a lack of opportunities that fit around existing commitments. We saw this gap and decided to do something about it.

Our mission is simple: to support the people of Ireland by creating fair, honest opportunities for work. We believe that connecting willing workers with people who need help; whom we call “chorers”, can ease financial pressure on both sides. Workers gain access to flexible income opportunities, while chorers gain a reliable, trustworthy source of support for the tasks and jobs they need done.

At the heart of Chorzo is a simple idea: connection built on trust. We facilitate direct relationships between local workers and the people who need their services, cutting out unnecessary barriers and ensuring that both sides benefit from a fair, transparent exchange. Every part of our platform is designed with honesty and community in mind, because we believe that’s what Ireland’s workers and households deserve.
